A Very DESPICABLE Flick Chick

The Flick Chick may not be a huge animation fan….but she loved DESPICABLE ME.

Reasons?

The characters, the story, the voice actors and the overall wacky, irreverent and fun vibe of the whole thing.

Oh yeah. And those minions.

Those hilarious, silly, gibberish-spouting yellow fellas who make the whole flick just a little more worthwhile.

Watch our latest video to see what all the fuss is about.

The Flick Chick may not really be Despicable (yet)…..but man, does she wanna have her own army of those minions.

She’s workin’ on it.

STAY TUNED!

Despicable Me

In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences and flowering rose bushes sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden deep beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by an army of mischievous little minions, we discover Gru (Steve Carell) planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon (Yes, the moon!) in Universal’s new 3-D CGI feature, Despicable Me. Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. That is, until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. One of the world’s greatest super-villains has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes. www.despicable.me

Can’t Wait For DATE NIGHT!

I gotta admit, I was seriously thrilled when I first read that two of my fave funny people, Tina Fey and Steve Carell, were making a comedy flick together.

First, I read a short synopsis:

“In New York City, a case of mistaken identity turns a bored married couple’s attempt at a glamorous and romantic evening into something more thrilling and dangerous.”

Then, I saw the names of some of the other cast members:

Mark Wahlberg, Kristin Wiig, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Mark Ruffalo and Ray Liotta

Then, they released the poster image:

And now yesterday, I finally got my first glimpse at an extended clip from the flick. It’s a funny scene with Tina, Steve and Mark Wahlberg (I’m sorry, but he’s always gonna be Marky Mark to me).

(My favorite part? Steve Carell’s facial reactions. Priceless.)

So check it out and make sure to leave a comment below about what you think.
